If it is worth doing, it is worth doing well.
What if you applied this mindset to everything in your life? When this principle is applied firmly, you will see very clearly what’s worth doing, and what you’re spinning your wheels on that needs to be given up.
I want to help you to stop wasting your time on things that don’t matter, and fill up with the good stuff, that will leave your life feeling stress free and purposeful.
See, taking the time to do things right, gives you the opportunity to invest yourself in things that really matter.
If your like me, I’m sure you’ve tried out many times what I call the shotgun approach. This is when we have so many things in front of us we want to do, and it is hard to decide which ones to start with. Instead of deciding, we hold up our shotgun and without precision, we pull the trigger hoping we hit all of our targets.
There’s got to be a better way, right?
We desire so many things! We want to have better finances, better bodies, a better job, a better relationship, a well trained animal, a bigger house, more clothes, a nicer car, good hair, an organized business, more money, a more disciplined sleeping schedule, more disciplined children … the list is endless of the things we desire.
However, there is a solution to the madness! You ready?
The solution is this:
GIVE yourself permission to NOT have to DO IT ALL at once.
That’s right, just because you can, doesn’t mean you should. There are many, many things we can do, but it doesn’t mean we have to do them all now. Your path to a better life is a process and you can’t rush quality.
For everything in your life worth doing, I promise it is worth doing well.
How can you apply this mindset to your life today? What are things that you really want most, and what the things that you could just let go of? See, part of this process is allowing ourselves to do the things that matter most, do them well, and then move on to something else.
